The designer/maker works in close collaboration with clients, creating designs that are unique and well suited to the clients' needs. The impetus for designing and building Studio Furniture is for self expression while creating functional art.

The feel of Studio Furniture pieces differs largely from furniture common to most homes, which is mass produced and does not bear the energy of human hands. In a Studio Furniture piece, warm human energy can be felt through the wood and becomes overlain with the energy of the owner's use.
